The Republic of Croatia is a European parliamentary state and a part of European po­litical and cultural history. It is classified as one of the medi­um sized European countries such as Denmark, Ireland, Slovakia or Switzerland.

Croatiais a land of open frontiers and simple customs regulations. It is also a peace­ful country, and one that is respectful towards its guests. Geographic position  - Croatiaextends from the easterly edges of the Alps in the northwest, through the Pannonian lowlands, to the banks of the Danube in the east. Its central region is covered by the Dinara mountain range, while the southern region ends on the Adriatic coast.
